Copyright Policy

The creator of a piece of work generally owns the copyright on that material. Material includes photos, music, design, prose & poetry, - basically anything !

These laws exist to protect the author's ownership ( which may be their livelihood).

Copyright law is extremely complex but basically says that we cannot permit you to steal copies of this created material without permission from the copyright owner. Ownership generally exists for a large number of years, typically beyond the death of the creator.

There are certain exceptions which allow work to be reproduced for study / or 'fair dealing'.

If anyone breaches copyright, - they become liable for the financial loss to the copyright owner due to the infringement of copyright. (This can be very difficult to prove and rarely results in court action)

If we are unable to reproduce the material you wish copying, - please do not be offended. If you ask for permission from the copyright owner in writing they will usually agree, respect you and our shop for protecting their interests. This statement is for guidance but does not constitute our full policy. Please refer to the appropriate laws.

For Instance: The content for this website was written by Phil Rigby, and hense is copyrighted to him. The Design work was done by Chris Dorward of ChaosUK- and that part is copyrighted to him. We have included many supplier logos, which all have their associated copyright. The photos included within these pages are all the copyright of the person who took the photos.

As you can see, the issue of Copyright is very complicated.

Provided you give credit (where credit is due), you may do what you like with the matieral contained here.
